“Comprehensive tour of the east side of the island. Unfortunately for us the weather was appalling when we set off so when we reached the second highest peak we couldn’t see a thing and it was freezing. How about having a plan B for when this happens so guests could still enjoy the experience but not waste time trying the impossible. The rest of the tour was lovely but be prepared for the tourist trade. After all - most of us are tourists at the end of the day”

“Eine wenig anstrengende Wanderung. Allerdings geht es manchmal über schmale Wege entlang dem Levada. Schwindelfreiheit und Trittsicherheit sind doch gefordert. Teils geht es durch den Lorbeerwald teils hat man aber schöne Ausblicke bis hin zur Küste. Immer entlang dem Kanal. Die Strecke ist zumindest heute nicht sehr frequentiert gewesen.”
